Remember the good old days when bands would play songs with melodies you could remember? There's a new sound coming out of Sioux Falls and it features six experienced local musicians who love to play the "good stuff"—standards, jazz, some R & B, and a few show tunes to boot.
The Apostles will amaze you with their versatility—with songs from Nat King Cole's "Unforgettable" to "Satin Doll," "Mustang Sally," "I've Got A Crush On You," and "Route 66." All six musicians in the group sing, but the group features two talented soloists, Carol Nesbitt and Willie Bertsch. The very talented Sam Hasegawa plays a mean piano but will also impress you by bringing out his sax or flute.
